Megan F. Spencer biography Megan F. Spencer was born in Bath, a rural coastal town in Maine. She spent many days in her childhood curiously watching from her backyard, the local clammers mucking for clams in the coastal tidal flats. This childhood pastime helped spark Megan's creative interests with found objects among nature. As she pursued her specific brand of art she became inspired to attend the world renowned Rhode Island School of Design, where she earned her MFA and became well known for her awe inspiring natural works. Megan's work has been exhibited worldwide and she continues to be inspired by her natural surroundings which are reflected in her work.
